A real hot mark and great for beginners. Summer months see Bass, Garfish, Mackerel, Plaice, Mullet and Trigger fish. In winter it offers Whiting, Dabs, Flounder, Codling, and Dogfish.

The Trigger Fish (Balistes capriscus ) named for the sharp pointed dorsal fin which stands tall when scared have become more numerous in recent years around the UK shore line. A powerful fighter in short bursts which can be target using popular techniques for shore anglers. This fish also uses the the dorsal fin to lock it’s self in to position amongst rocks so prevent attacks from predators.
