Great mark for Bass, Mackerel, Garfish, Pollack, Wrasse, Mullet, Dogfish, with flatties, conger eels and Ray making an occasional appearance, winter species include Dogfish, Pouting and Whiting.

Pouting also known as bib, pout whiting or pout (Trisopterus luscus) is commonly caught from the shore while fishing for Cod and Whiting. Larger Pout plague wrecks and can become a problem preventing baits and lures from getting to the target species. Again this fish is becoming more popular to eat, but to be honest I am not keen on eating it and it can be a bloody pest!
