Carp Fishing Help from Robocarp

As much as I love to see Robocarp’s traffic growing every day, there is one thing I noticed that I see as minor problem. It appears that some visitors to my site landed there from a search engine while looking for other types of fishing, predominately sea fishing. At first this slightly disheartened me, realising that a portion (albeit small) of my traffic went there to find nothing useful at all. This was around the same time I stumbled across a fantastic sea fishing website called Fishing-blog.co.uk. After spending a while exploring it (I fished off bournemouth beach/pier for a few years so found it interesting), I decided to contact the owner to see if they suffered a similar problem and if we could do something about it. After some discussion, it was agreed to create a ‘guest blog’ for each other’s website, and you might of guessed by now that this is it.

My website, Robocarp.co.uk, was created when I decided to begin carp fishing. I wanted to document my ups and downs and provide any hints or tips I came across, as well as highlight my mistakes (mainly involving casting and trees) so others may learn from them. It hasn’t been established long, but has already shown encouragement from the friendly angling community. I have just moved back to university for my 3rd and final year, so fishing sessions are scarce to come by at the moment (getting cold turkey!), but I am still focussing on writing useful articles regardless.
