Fishing and Angling

This beach has now become a very popular area for Bass angling. The area of the beach towards the river can produce some good fishing at the right stage of the tide, and can be taken on bait and lures. The rest of the beach fishes well, but it takes a while to find the right conditions to have a sucessful trip.

There is plenty of parking near by, so this is never an issue, but it gets busy in the summer!

A range of species can be caught including small pollock, wrasse, flatties and mullet in the river.
