Tell us about your sea fishing experience http://www.fishing-blog.co.uk/forum/sea-fishing-experience/hi/#p16 It seems to be a mixed year, that started with a promise of some great fishing. I have seen some great groups of Bass while snorkling, but beach catches seem average.

Anyone else got some advice???????

mike2001 on Hi http://www.fishing-blog.co.uk/forum/sea-fishing-experience/hi/#p14 Introduce yourself. Tell us about your sea fishing experience http://www.fishing-blog.co.uk/forum/sea-fishing-experience/hi/#p14 Hi, I am a new user and often need help!!! My experience has been spread over a lot of years, but is very sporadic. I used to do some basic pond/lake fishing in south Essex when I was a child. I also did a bit of fishing from Southend Pier, as it was in it's full length.

I moved to central Essex and did some fihing in the Chelmer, together with some eel fishing on the oyster beds at Mersea Island, from an old rowing boat.

I moved down to the coast in dorset and did a bit of beach lake and river fishing. Mostly not very successfully.

In recent years a couple of us have bought Sit on kayaks and fish for bream and Mackerel, together with the odd spinning adventure for Bass, all in Poole Bay.

This year the mackerel fishing has for us been really poor!

Anyone else had similar experiences this year?Wink
