Dennis head is the seaward side of a village called St Antony. Dennis head splits the Helford estuary and Gillian creek. The headland has many marks around it but the left side when looking out to sea is preferred. The water here holds good sized Bass, Mullet, Garfish, Pollock, Wrasse, Ray, Huss and Conger.

This mark fishes well at low tide and I have had a lot of success here for Ray at this stage of tide. The Bass prefer more water and the ones I have caught from here have been in the 5lb to 7lb range.

Care needs to be taken as the tide race is very strong mid tide, so be careful at all times.

For Kayak fishing you can launch at St Antony for a small charge and its about a 20 min paddle around the headland.
