Chesil beach – Chesil Cove
This is at the Portland end of Chesil beach. There are rocks off shore here unlike the rest of the beach hence why Conger come in here more than anywhere else along Chesil.
Fishing during the hours of darkness can produce the best results here and the species that are taken regularly from this part of the beach are – Bass, Pouting, Conger, Pollock with the odd Bream.
There is a car park close by so having to walk to your mark is not a problem.
As with most fishing marks on Chesil beach it can get very busy in the summer time.
