Coverack sea angling
The Harbour here makes a great fishing platform. The out side of the wall is into rough ground and can produce almost anything including Pollock. I would suggest float fishing this area as its full of snags if you are not prepared to loose lots of end gear.

Dennis Head beach casting and spinning mark
Dennis head is the seaward side of a village called St Antony. Dennis head splits the Helford estuary and Gillian creek. The headland has many marks around it but the left side when looking out to sea is preferred. The water here holds good sized Bass, Mullet, Garfish, Pollock, Wrasse, Ray, Huss and Conger.

Godrevy point beach casting and spinning
This location is located between Portreath and Hayle on the B3301, the coast road. Parking is good at this fishing mark with a large area of allocated parking.

Beach casting and plugging Praa sands
Praa sands is very easy to locate on the main Helston to Penzance road. Its about equal distance between both towns.
The beach is very busy in the summer months and is a very good local surf beach.

Beach casting in Poldhu Cove
Poldhu Cove is located between Helston and Mullion. It is a sandy cove about 100 to 150 yards across and it can be fished from the beach or there are a few rock marks. Beach casting and Plugging are both well suited to the shore mark.

Beach casting Kenneck Sands, Cornwall

June sea fishing
I look forward to the month of June. Many of the Summer fish species are now here and waiting to be caught with open mouths. Fish start to hunt nearer the surface and the sound of screeching beach casting reels is heard as Bass power away when they take your bait.
