Godrevy point beach casting and spinning

This location is located between Portreath and Hayle on the B3301, the coast road. Parking is good at this fishing mark with a large area of allocated parking.

There are some great rock marks here which fish out over clean to broken ground, the further towards the light house the more broken the ground becomes. The beach here is a very good surf beach which produces the usual suspects like Bass, Ray and Turbot, to sand eel. Also on the Mussel beds Plaice can be caught. Spinning a lure or dead bait will produce pollock, Garfish and Mackerel.

There are a few areas along here that produce Wrasse. Worms and Crab will be the Wrasse out of hiding.

This area is popular all year around with surfers and the holiday season and associated beach users will prevent you fishing the beach in the high season.
