Sea fishing forum spammers
Sadly, the sea fishing forum is being heavily spammed and i am struggling to keep on top of it.
Firstly if you are a spammer, do not waste your time as your links will be removed and secondly if you would like to moderate a section of the fishing blog forum to help me reduce spam etc than please comment on this post.

Hi There,
Sorry to hear the spammers are hitting you hard. Often they are robots sent out to pick easy targets - sites with no or little spam protection. Not sure if you have resolved your problems ? If not then I would suggest joining a users forum for your particular forum type. Also if you make a post to this forum you will find someone who can help.

It should be real easy to shut the spammers out, they are a real pain in the bot arent they.

Try Akismet Anti-Spam for vBulletin, may be this will facilitate your hard work.

I run several forums as admin, and i understand what you going through, if you need help from a commercial fisherman, send me an email with the forum link and i will sign up and help you out.
