Coverack sea angling

The Harbour here makes a great fishing platform. The out side of the wall is into rough ground and can produce almost anything including Pollock. I would suggest float fishing this area as its full of snags if you are not prepared to loose lots of end gear.

Inside the Harbour produces flounder and small pollock on a high tide at sunset or sunrise. The headland near the Paris Hotel fishes well for large Wrasse.

I have heard that Sole can be caught here with small hooks and rag worm as bait. I have never connected with either of these species when I have fished here.
