I thought I would share these photographs from Praa sands in Cornwall with you. I have never seen so much foam in my life and the bizar thing was the beach was totally silent!

At the deepest points it was over 6 feet deep. I am unsure what caused this huge build up, I know from keeping marine fish that foam skims of protiens from the water as well as other un-desirables, when its mixed with fine air bubbles. There had been a few days of strong on-shore winds and the sea was very rough.

If you have anyidea what caused so much let us know!
