Plugging for BASS today

I thought with the sea stirred up a bit today would be a good day to spend 3 hrs plugging for late BASS.

I took my SHAKESPEARE ODESSA FLATTIE rod with the ABU CARDINAL 500 spooled with 15 lb braid and a handful of large plugs. The weather is strong winds, so I need heavy plugs to get out in the wind. The ODESSA FLATTIE is a bit stiff for plugging, but I was expecting lots of weed and it makes it a lot easier than the carp rod.

I got to my mark here in CORNWALL and started fishing. The wind blew up to about 35 knts. And the air temperature was falling.

I fished a surf beach, towards the rocks at the end for a BASS. I went without a bite.

Nothing unusual blanking, but another day in my diary which will help me in the furure on this mark.
