Kayak fishing session, RTM mambo and Disco

Published on August 07, 2007 with No Comments

Just a quick post to let you know I had a great fishing session today at Porthoustock in  Cornwall. Species included, Pollock, Scad, Red Gurnard and Wrasse.

All were taken on small feathers fished tight to the bottom. The pollock were near the Volnay wreck and the rest were close to the shore towards Porthkerris.

A first was a foul hooked Pipe Fish. I have never caugth one of these before, but I have heard of them being seen in the mouths of cod on the east cost of england. There feed value is very low and both fish and marine birds are becoming victims of the large populations of this fish.

Pictures will follow soon.
