Kayak fishing safety

You should always carry a knife with you encase of entanglement in rope or fishing line while angling.

An important tip I have been told is to carry a good quality knife with a serrated blade for cutting through things in water. For some reason a serrated edge is much better through rope when it underwater or wet.
