Try and get the branded Bait Box ones. The unbranded ones don't seem to be so oily. I guess they probably weren't frozen as quickly or something.......

Oh yeah,

Forgot to say in my other comment. I have yet to blank whilst using them. I have used them when float fishing, when fishing at Exmouth docks and short range fishing off a rock mark in Torbay. So far I have caught Pollack, Wrasse, Gurnards, Mackerell and Mullet using it. Some people say it comes off the hook too easily. My tip would be to keep it in your cool bag until it is ready to go on the hook. It almost seems to work best when it is still frozen when you bait up; then the oils come out as it defrosts underwater.Good luck folks..........

I’m normally a bit of a sceptic about pre-packaged and frozen baits but blueys are great.
