Beach casting and plugging Praa sands

Praa sands is very easy to locate on the main Helston to Penzance road. Its about equal distance between both towns.

The beach is very busy in the summer months and is a very good local surf beach.

Bass, Plaice, Dogfish and Turbot can be caught here, generally fishing Sand eel is the best chance of catching. Plugging the beach would also be a worth while method when the sea is a bit roughed up.

The main beach is clean sand for about 200 yards out when it becomes broken. Beach casting and plugging would be worth ago from the rocks to the right hand side of the beach as well.

There is loads of parking available here and even somewhere to get some food!
